Public Liability Insurance
The Club is advised by the PAGB to have Public Liability Insurance. This can be facilitated by the Southern Counties Photographic Federation but an alternative insurer may be appropriate depending on the cost and level of cover required.
The policy provides cover against liability in law for damages and claimants costs and expenses in respect of accidental injury to any person and accidental damage to property.
The policy is endorsed to note the following two extensions:
1. Member to member liability.
2. Members engaged in group or individual club activity.
The policy gives cover from the 1st February of one year to 31st January of the next.
The following is a summary of Alton Camera Club’s Public Liability Insurance which as a member of the PAGB is taken out through the brokers Darwin Clayton (UK) Ltd
This summary is given in good faith, however should it differ in any way from the policy, the policy always takes precedence.
The cover provides the club, and each club member, against liability in law for damages and claimant’s costs and expenses in respect of:
- Accidental injury to any person
- Accidental damage to property
The policy is endorsed to note the following two extensions:
- Member-to-member liability
- Members engaged in group or individual club activity
The policy is endorsed to note the following exclusion:
- Abuse and Protection of Vulnerable Adults (PCVA)
Limits of cover are stated below:
