Print League

There are four Print league rounds each season and are run on different dates through the year. Up to two1 images can be entered for each Print league competition. Images entered for the Print league competition cannot have been used in previous Print League competitions.

Themed Print challenge competitions are often run on the same evening, all images entered on any one evening must be different.

1(19 Nov 24) Now that print entry numbers have increased, number of entries has reverted to two

Members must submit a PDI of each entered print via photo entry by midnight on the Sunday preceding the competition.

Images are shown in a random order with the titles read out. The author is not identified to the judge and feedback, sometimes brief, is given for all images.

Marks are given out of 10 with 1/2 marks for each image in all competitions.

If there are time pressures, judging of a class may be postponed to a later date.

Awards

Jennie Pearson Trophy – Awarded to the overall winner of the Print League, this is the photographer with the highest points total from the sum of their eight highest scoring league prints.

Norman Rogers Cup – Awarded to the photographer with the highest points total from the sum of their four highest scoring Monochrome print league entries over the season.

ACC Tankard – Awarded to the photographer with the highest points total from the sum of their four highest scoring Colour print league entries over the season.

The winners in each field will have the highest total points.
