PDIs (Projected Digital Images)

You may find it helpful to read the guide to creating PDIs

  • PDI images must be submitted via Photo Entry on or before the Sunday preceding the competition.
  • Images must be in JPEG (.jpg) format only.
  • It is not necessary to resize the files for projection although the optimum size is 1600 pixels wide by 1200 pixels high. Please note that images that exceed these dimensions cannot go forward to represent the club in external competitions, however Photo Entry will usually resize for the competition.
  • It is advisable to use the sRGB colourspace, Photo Entry will issue a warning if not, however this is acceptable.
  • It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure that the media can be read
  • The image title should be entered into Photoentry – this should be a unique name, titles should not be repeated by the same member for any other image across all entries for all years
  • The filename of the image is not used, so can be any name you wish
  • Advice, assistance and equipment is available to enable members to meet these requirements. The Club uses PC computer equipment.
