Created in recognition of a bequest made to the club in 2019 and is to recognise advances made by newcomers to club photography
- To qualify for the Newcomers’ Trophy, members must:
- be within their first 3 full seasons at Alton Camera Club.
- have not been previous members of a PAGB affiliated camera club, holder of a photographic award or deemed by the committee to be an experienced photographer when joining the club.
- have submitted prints and PDIs equal to at least 50% of the possible PDI entries”.
- have not previously won the Newcomers’ trophy.
- The committee will decide on the winner guided by who has the highest average score based upon the average of all competitions entered in the season.
